Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 16-08-21

As a responsible business, we are following the current UK and Scottish Government COVID-19 guidelines  including the advice concerning protecting Scotland’s rural communities. #RespectTheDestination.

Restrictions are steadily easing and are now beyond level 0, meaning that most mandatory restrictions have been removed. There is now no restriction on the number of families that can charter together.  Masks are still helpful to prevent spread of covid and are recommended below decks in shared areas except when eating or drinking. We also require to collect basic contact information from charters for track and trace purposes.

The Scottish government are recommending that all visitors to Scottish Islands including Orkney and Shetland should take a lateral flow test 3 days prior to travel and also on the day of travel. Those having positive tests should seek a PCR test to confirm results and should not travel. We would ask all our customers to comply with the guidance and take these tests before travelling to charter with us.

To allow you confidence to book, we are offering a Money back guarantee for all charters which have to be cancelled for covid during 2021/22

If for any reason, Coronavirus travel restrictions on the date of your booking prevent your booking from going ahead and you or any of the rest of your party test positive for COVID-19 or are required to self-isolate according to Coronavirus rules at the time of your booking, we will offer to move your booking to an alternative date of your choice. If a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed upon, we will offer you a full refund of your charter fee. This applies to all current and prospective bookings for 2021 and 2022.

Please note that for charters where you have requested a vessel relocation. Any relocation fee will not be refundable unless you give us a minimum of 3 full days notice, prior to the start of your charter.
